The Meal service is a department within the service sector of Ulricehamn municipality. The mission is to serve meals to all preschool and school students as well as to individuals assessed for assistance in special accommodations, group homes, or their own homes. Today, there are 34 kitchens included in the meal service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position includes all tasks that occur in a large kitchen, including ordering, cooking, serving, dishwashing, and self-control. The work is scheduled for all days of the week, which means that weekend work is included.

QUALIFICATIONS

Solrosens care and nursing home in central Ulricehamn is now looking for you who are a trained chef or have other relevant education deemed equivalent. If you have experience from a large kitchen or restaurant, it is an advantage, and we value a genuine interest in food and commitment to your work. Here you will work together with a colleague during weekdays and take responsibility for the kitchen during weekends.

We are looking for someone who is structured, responsible, and able to handle stress, with the ability to work independently while collaborating well with colleagues. You are flexible, service-oriented, and have a strong desire to contribute to development and improvements. We would like you to be open to change, engaged, and creative in your work, and that you contribute your ideas to develop the service. Your commitment in the kitchen and for the residents is central, and you have the ability to adapt to different situations and tasks.

In Ulricehamn municipality, multilingualism is seen as a strength, but it is important that you master Swedish in both speech and writing. Good computer skills are also important.
